After accidentally knocks an experiment over Ben and Jerry find their selves stuck with their sweet home turning into a mischievous house, now they must find a way to prevent their house from breaking itself apart before their beloved professor comes home.

Synopsis:
A dog and a rat named Ben and Jerry are pals for a life time; they lived for almost 1 year with their beloved master, professor Dean. However, when Ben accidentally knock down one of professor experiment on the ground their home sweet home is about to change. Now they must find a way to turn back their living mischievous house to become normal again before the professor come home.

REFLECTION PAPER:
A good story is not only came from a good imagination but also a good way of how delivering it to the audience. No matter how old is the reader or your audience is, a simple children story could even give a big impression if you know how to deliver them right. And that’s what Mr. Walt Disney had done. Just like what Disney said “Everyone is a kid at heart, you just have to find a way to bring it out”.  













3 ACT STRUCTURE (= story map on ONE page)

ACT1 – SET UP
Key Character: Ben, Jerry, and the Wicked House
Motive – Ben and Jerry must turn their wicked house to be normal and clean again, or else both of them and their master would lose the house.
Situation: Professor Dean asks Ben and Jerry to watch the house. Then Ben knocks one of the prof. chemical and brings the house alive.

ACT2 - CONFRONTATION
Conflict / Obstacles – The Wicked House keeps playing tricks on Ben and Jerry. It goes crazy moving things around the house. 


ACT3 - RESOLUTION
Climax – The Wicked House is thinking about playing in the lab room located in the underground basement that filled with flammable chemicals. 
Outcome: Jerry found out that the Wicked House hate cleanliness. Hence they beat the house by cleaning the house room by room. 
Resolution – Professor comes home happily seeing the house is clean. Ben got praised and Jerry beats his fear.
Key Message – Go crazy when you play and Work when you need to work. 





STORYLINE: (450-500 words) – double spaced, 12 points

The story begins, in an American house in Southwest Florida. As much particularly the houses around the neighbor is ordinarily the same as one another. However, one house is about to go mischief.
On that house best friends Ben and Jerry live together for almost 1 year now. To begin with, Ben is a dwarf American Jack Russell who loves to play. Jerry on the other hand, is a British white Rex rat who loves to read books. They live together with their master Professor Dean, who is a chemical experimentalist. But today, Ben and Jerry are left alone to watch the house while Dean gone. But Dean would not left without a warning. He said.

“Both of you better behave today, because I’m only paying a visit to my friend and I’m going to be back in a while. So watch the house and keep it clean or else”.
And *VROOM-VROOOM* he goes.

Now they have to play safe guard in the house while their master is gone. Yet both of them are very bad at playing the role. They take a nap together. But suddenly out of nowhere.
*CRASH!!!*
A sound of shattered glass breaks the silence.
The sound is loud enough to wakes the two in a split of second. Ben and Jerry are pretty well stunned for more than a minute looking through the whole living room. Just when they want to take a step to check what just happened, the house starts to shakes. Both of them are panicking and run to the door thinking that it’s an earthquakes. But mysteriously all the doors and windows in the house shut down one by one. Jerry shrieks and takes a sprint; he freaks out running to the every corner in the house with tears drops from his eyes. Stuffs in the house start to float and out of nowhere the house is giggling looking at Ben and Jerry through the living room twin windows. And for a moment Jerry faints. For more than an hour they chased down bullied and teased by the house. The house starts to gets dirty and falls apart, it wants to play in the lab which is dangerous. Ben and Jerry scared that they might lost their home and make Dane mad. Then Jerry realizes that there are one section of the house hasn’t been touch and that is the bathroom. On a sudden bright idea, Jerry shouts.
“Ben let’s clean this house, it’s afraid of cleanliness.
Then they start to clean the house with soaps, each and every room leaving no spot behind or anything else. Soon they found out one of Dean’s Chemical is spilled on the floor. At a same time Ben got caught by the house. Then Jerry go to the rescue clean the whole chemical puddle alone it almost took Ben’s life but the house is defeated and returns to normal. The house is safe and nobody got scolds, but that day Dane smells really bad.


















SCRIPT
ACT1

SCENE 1 – INT – PROFESSOR DANE HOUSE LIVING ROOM – DAY
Action description – to write in narrative form, present tense
Ben and Jerry are talking in the living room. Ben laying on the floor with his stomach on top and Jerry sitting beside him reading the all-time favorite 

BEN
(Yawn)
Oh my Jerry I never thought we would be this bored, I wish Professor would actually take us with him to his friend house.

JERRY
(Looking through the book page seriously)
How would he take us with him when nobody guard or watch the house?


BEN
(Pout, Puts his head on his straight front legs while lay down)
AHhhhh, what should we do.

JERRY
(Close his book and hold it on his lap while he leans to BEN)
I’m bored to but it’s our Job to make him happy. It’s you goal right? Then how About taking a little nap?

BEN
(Close his eyes, dreams)

Prof. DANE
(Strict)
Both of you better behave today, because I’m only paying a visit to my friend and I’m going to be back in a while. So watch the house and keep it clean or else.



DISSOLVE TO:




ACT1

SCENE2 – INT – PROFESSOR DANE HOUSE LIVING ROOM – DAY
Action Description - BEN and JERRY sleeping on the living room floor, occasionally JERRY throws his body.


*CRASH*

BEN
(Shouts, and stands up)
Thief!!!

JERRY
(Stumbles from BEN body to the floor half conscious)
EH WHAT!? Wait I don’t have any 
(Grabs on BEN coat, wipes his drool)

BEN and JERRY
(Stunned, looks around the living room for a minute. Then they decide to the first step forward)

WICKED HOUSE
(Shakes around, dancing wriggle)

JERRY
(Screams)
EARTHQUAKES RUN TO THE DOOR, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
(Sprints from the living room to the main door)

BEN
(Runs to the main door)

The Windows and Doors in the house are all shut down BEN and JERRY lock out. The main door close in front of BEN and JERRY

JERRY
(Shrieks, Panic)
AHhhh!!
(Runs around the corners off the living room while crying)

CUT TO:


ACT2
SCENE3 – INT– PROFESSOR DANE HOUSE LIVING ROOM – DAY
Action Description – BEN barks on the floating furniture and JERRY crazily shuttles around the living room. WICKED HOUSE stares through the twin windows besides the main door, giving them smiling eyes.

WICKED HOUSE
(Girly Giggles)
Let’s play shall we?

JERRY
(Eyes roll back and faint)

WICKED HOUSE
(Tries to catch JERRY with long rug as an arm)

BEN
(Picks jerry up with his mouth)
JERRY wakes up will you!!!
(Dodge all the WICKED HOUSE moves)

ACT3
SCENE4 – INT– PROFESSOR DANE HOUSE KITCHEN – DAY
Action Description – BEN gets away from the WICKED HOUSE, and then JERRY wakes up. Couldn’t find BEN and JERRY WICKED HOUSE starts to play on her own creating damage to the house structure.


BEN
(Cringes, worried)
What should we do the house is falling apart, it might collapse. What if the Professor comes home?

JERRY
(Holds his head with both hands)
OH MY GOD! The Professor…!!!
What should we do?!

BEN
There must be an explanation why this house suddenly came alive. We should find out why, let’s go!

WICKED HOUSE
(Peeks through the underground staircase)
Oh Goody, a secret lab
I want to play 

JERRY
(Jaw drops, points toward the WICKED HOUSE)
Oh No, BEN!!! The lab
Professor lab is dangerous
CUT TO:
ACT3
SCENE5 – INT– PROFESSOR DANE HOUSE CORIDOR – DAY
Action Description – BEN pass through the corridor to gets to the living room. JERRY gets a glance of the bathroom while carried by BEN with his mouth.

BEN
(Growls)
GRrrrr…. 

JERRY
(Shouts with both off his hand creating tunnel for his mouth)
BEN I KNOW HOW TO DEFEAT HER!!!
SHE NEVER TOUCHES THE BATHROOM…
SHE HATES CLEANLINESS…
WE SHOULD CLEAN HER…

BEN
(Takes a sharp turns to the bathroom)

JERRY
(Grabs soaps)
Let’s Clean This House Shall We?!!
CUT TO:
ACT3
SCENE6 – INT– PROFESSOR DANE HOUSE LAB ROOM– DAY
Action Description – BEN and JERRY start to clean the house room after room with the soaps. They comes upon the Professor’s Lab as their last destination

JERRY
(Finds big green spot)
Look I think a chemical is knocked to the floor and has made the house like as it is now
(Hurries scrubs the spot_)

BEN
(Block up the lab door standing in two foot)
HURRY JERRY!!!

JERRY
(Scrubbing the floor)
UHhhh!!! How should I do this?

WICKED HOUSE
(Push the door hard, she gets her rug hand in)
Come out; Come out where ever you are!
(Pulls BEN legs)

BEN
(Screams)
JERRY!!!

JERRY
(Panic and scrubs like crazy)
Oh No! Oh No! Oh No!
UGhhh!!! YES I did it!!!

WICKED HOUSE
(Shrieks)
NOooooooooooooo!!!!
DISOLVE TO:
ACT3
SCENE7 – INT– PROFESSOR DANE HOUSE FRONT YARD – DAY
Action Description – BEN and JERRY laying on the front yard, beaten up and lazying around. Then Professor DANE come home and approaches them.

Prof. DANE
(Leans down, scolding)
What are you guys doing here?
(Looks up to the clean house)
You guys did a great Job…
(Pets BEN and rubs JERRY with his finger)

The three of them walks into the house together

Prof. DANE
(Confuse)
Where all the soaps gone?
