What makes a good story :
- The personality of characters
- Plot, and what it related to. (ex: tragic love, in relate to world war)
- Detailed narratives that enhance audience filling to the character situation
- The way that the story is told. (Flash back, part by part, progressive)
TERMS :
- Screenplay : is written work or script that is purposely made for television or film.
- Storyboard : is a set of illustration complete with an explanation that serves as a visual guideline of a screenplay.
- Plagiarism : is an act of copying a copyrighted work
- Pitch : it's a one sentence selling point summary
- Genre : refers to category of literature
- Conceptualise : form of interpreted idea or concept
- Log line : one sentence summary
- Synopsis : is one paragraph summary of a story
- 3 act structure : is a standard structure form for story telling, it consist of 3 parts which set-up, confrontation, and resolution.
- Set-up, Confrontation, Resolution: settings, conflicts, outcome
- Treatment : is a detailed summary of a story in prose.
- Storyline : the development of a story from beginning to end
- Motive : is the goal or things that need to be done by the characters
- Conflict : is problem that is face by the character in their way to achieve his motive
