What makes a good story :

  • The personality of characters
  • Plot, and what it related to. (ex: tragic love, in relate to world war)
  • Detailed narratives that enhance audience filling to the character situation
  • The way that the story is told. (Flash back, part by part, progressive)


TERMS :
  • Screenplay : is written work or script that is purposely made for television or film.
  • Storyboard : is a set of illustration complete with an explanation that serves as a visual guideline of a screenplay.
  • Plagiarism  : is an act of copying a copyrighted work
  • Pitch          : it's a one sentence selling point summary 
  • Genre        : refers to category of literature
  • Conceptualise : form of interpreted idea or concept
  • Log line     : one sentence summary
  • Synopsis    : is one paragraph summary of a story
  • 3 act structure : is a standard structure form for story telling, it consist of 3 parts which set-up, confrontation, and resolution.
  • Set-up, Confrontation, Resolution: settings, conflicts, outcome
  • Treatment : is a detailed summary of a story in prose.
  • Storyline   : the development of a story from beginning to end
  • Motive      : is the goal or things that need to be done by the characters
  • Conflict    : is problem that is face by the character in their way to achieve his motive
