Week 5: Case study
SEINFIELD :
1. Character Development (how they introduce new characters)
- They introduced the new characters one by one by setting up a situation where its driven by key characters motive.
ex: The Soup Nazi seller (antagonist) is introduced after Jerry (protagonist) told the situation in the famous Soup Nazi Store
2. Presentation Style (how do they present characters in situations)
- Each characters with different personality acts differently to the situation
* Jerry: He obey all rules and know his prior motive. He is determined
* George: He wants to learn things and keep trying to achieve his motive.
* Elaine: She's a bit of a rebel, she don't want to obey the rule. But she always try to achieve her
motive with her own way.
* Kramer: He is easy going and always find peace in his own way

3. 3 ACT - esp Act1 >> SETUP
- act1 : Jerry, Elaine, and George want to get their lunch, when Jerry told the gang about a famous soup place called Soup Nazi
- act2 : When they want to get their soup, they need to confront with the patriotic seller and his rules
- act3 : Only Jerry who gets his soup while the others fail to obey the Soup Nazi's rule
4. Story is based on ... ?
- THEME : Soup Place
- PREMISE : Soup Nazi
- CONCEPT : To get a taste of Soup Nazi
- MEANING : Fast food costumer service
- KEY IDEA / MESSAGE : Fast food place always try to serve fast (ex: Starbucks, McDonald),
as if they live by Nazi rules.
- CHARACTER : The story actually focus mainly on Elaine who really wants to get her soup.
